WHAT MADE YOU ATTEND YOUR HBCU? My family has a long history of HBCU graduates. I was inspired to want to attend an HBCU because I’ve had the opportunity to have HBCU college experiences growing up with my parents attending the Magic City Classic where Alabama A&M University plays against my Dad’s Alma Mater, Alabama State University, going on college tours through a youth group called Delteen, sponsored by my sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. etc. I wanted to attend an HBCU outside of my hometown, but not too far for traveling to and from school. My parents had me create a matrix chart that comprised of various elements for determining which school I will choose to attend, such as location, my preferred major, and scholarships etc.
WHAT KIND OF REAL ESTATE DO YOU DO? I provide professional services in all things real estate! From buying, selling, investing, to even real estate education! I have a passion for helping others and seeing my clients happy. I am also grateful that God has given me a heart that wants to give, serve, connect, help, and build relationships with people. Being a real estate professional is a ministry to me. It gives me fulfillment to have the opportunity and skill sets to educate aspiring real estate agents and other real estate professionals in real estate education. I have been educating and coaching aspiring agents before I actually got my real estate license. I am happy to share that I am a licensed real estate instructor and am working to open my own real estate school!

WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU GIVE A YOUNG REALTOR AGENT ? I would share with a young agent that before you get into the real estate business, have money saved to cover your expenses as you grow your business as real estate can be “Feast or Famine” at any given time. Real Estate is not always glamorous, it is hard work. As real estate agents often times, “Wear many Hats” at anytime throughout a real estate transaction, it takes a strong, multifaceted person to understand how to navigate what is presented to you. Lastly, real estate can be very rewarding, you just have to stay the course and trust in the Lord to give you the resources you need to be successful.
WHAT IS NEXT FOR YOU WITH IN 5 YEARS? My goal is to continue to grow and expand my business and to continue to help others fulfill their dreams and goals through real estate.
