The 18th Annual Peachtree Village International Film Festival (PVIFF 2023), the Southeast’s premier international film and arts festival, is back with a renewed vigor, exciting new partnerships, educational forums, and networking opportunities. Join us from December 6th to 9th, 2023, in the vibrant city of Atlanta, GA.
PVIFF 2023 promises to be a stellar year, featuring new and captivating films, screenplays, documentaries, panels, workshops, and special events that you won’t want to miss. As PVIFF celebrates its 18th anniversary, we take pride in the remarkable success that our filmmakers and award winners have achieved over the past decade after premiering at our esteemed event. “At PVIFF, we provide a platform that fosters collaboration between creatives and industry professionals. This year as indie filmmakers most of us were forced to find innovative ways to produce content amid the strike. With this new birth of creativity, we at PVIFF want to expand our platform to offer filmmakers an opportunity to spread their wings. We will do this by introducing new partnerships with networks, distributors, producers and more. Our goal is to give PVIFF filmmakers and supporters broad opportunities to succeed,” says PVIFF’s CEO and Founder, Len Gibson.
PVIFF enters its seventh year in partnership with the thriving film, media, and art digital platform, JARO Media Services. JARO is proud to sponsor the 6th Annual Short Film Competition at PVIFF. The top three winners of the PVIFF Short Films/Short Docs Competition, sponsored by JARO, will receive special awards, cash prizes, cross-promotion, and a minimum of three months’ distribution on their platform. “We are thrilled about our partnership with PVIFF at JARO. Our goal is to discover exceptional content that resonates with a wide audience, and we believe that PVIFF consistently offers outstanding content from their talented filmmakers,” says JARO’s Founder and CEO, Richard DeVaughn.
Each year, PVIFF highlights a successful film or television series. This year, we will honor the cast and crew of Viacom’s / MTV “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” series for their remarkable success.
“After 18 years, we are still growing and evolving. Stay tuned for an incredible event featuring exceptional films, engaging panels, and a gathering of talented and resourceful individuals. We are excited to be celebrating 50 years of Hip Hop as well. We are all aware of the marriage between Music, Sound and Visuals, Commercials, Video games, Videos, Film & Television content. We will also have virtual events for our fans and supporters from across the nation and around the world who can’t attend in person. Thank you all for your continued support,” said PVIFF President and Founder, James “JB” Brown.
