MorganHacks is a student-led platform that creates the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs. Our goal is to build a student-led platform that inspires the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators among the students at Morgan State, all HBCUs, and ultimately the entire international student body.
To achieve this, we developed two phases:
The Hackathon: This is where we would bring several students together from across the world to the Morgan State campus to work on exciting but innovative ideas that can be turned into startups.
The Pre-Accelerator: This is our signature incubator program that provides an environment where the best ideas from the hackathon can be grown into significant startups that will shape the culture of the next decade.
Also, we have a wide range of support systems, ranging from Dr. David Kwabena Wilson, Morgan State University President, Dr. Ali Emdad, the Associate Dean of the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management, as well as Director of the Fintech Center, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), Ripple, Gener8tor, amongst many others.
