Keynote Speaker at Miles College Honors Convocation
Fairfield, Alabama – [September 6, 2023] – Miles College is elated to announce the visit of
United States Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke to our campus on September 14, 2023. This
significant occasion will mark Assistant Attorney General Clarke’s participation in the Miles College
Honors Convocation, to be held in the Pearson Hall Auditorium, 519 59th St, Fairfield, AL 35064,
commencing at 11 AM.
As the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Justice, Kristen
Clarke spearheads the Justice Department’s federal civil rights enforcement endeavors. She is dedicated to
upholding every American citizen’s civil and constitutional rights. A tireless advocate for civil rights,
Assistant Attorney General Clarke has devoted her entire career to pursuing justice and public service.
Miles College eagerly anticipates this event, an opportunity to celebrate and honor our scholars’
exceptional dedication and achievements, all of whom come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing
their rich tapestry of experiences, talents, and passions to our campus.
