With every door that opened she took each opportunity to advocate for children with disabilities, healthcare expansion and economic development.
Most recently, her frustration with the unwillingness of elected officials to move legislation that would address the immediate needs of the community has led her to run for United States House of Representatives. When asked why she was running for Congress, she stated “our community has been suffering immensely from the lack of healthcare and economic opportunities. Now is the time to exercise political courage and put forth bold economic and healthcare policies for the people! I have the expertise and track record to move bold policies forward. My proven track record of political courage, job creation, building generational wealth and brining healthcare into the community speaks to my ability to deliver results.”
